place in cast iron pan over
medium heat

  • stir for about five minutes 'til all nuts are coated in carmel syrup
  • pour out onto granite countertop (or parchment paper)
  • using a couple of forks, separate nuts as they cool
  • store in airtight container
  • four cups (receipt x4) does nicely in #7 frypan
