deseed and chop

  • chop all peppers in food processor, but not too fine

cider vinegar
put in pot along with chopped peppers.
bring to a rolling boil
  • strain out solids and put liquid back in pot

bottle liquid pectin
add and boil one minute more, skim foam
  • bottle and seal in sanitary jars the usual way
  • original receipt called for 1/4 t green coloring
  • we discussed leaving some of the solids in the jelly; i'd try it
