put in bowl and let stand 5 min

add and stir until sugar dissolves

lemon (lime) juice
add, stir
  • pour into dessert dishes or moulds, etc
  • put in icebox until set
  • for grapefruit jelly, use 3/4 c boiling water and 3/4 c grapefruit juice
  • for stiff blocks, double the amount of gelatin, pour into rectangular pan, and cut into blocks when set
