the berries:

fresh blackberries

mash in bowl to release the juice
add sugar if tart
or peaches:

simmer a few minutes with a little
sugar
the cobbler:

mix well

butter

melt in nr 8 skillet, then add
to cobbler mix, mix well
  • pour cobbler mix into skillet
  • pour fruit and juices into center
  • bake at 350 deg F for about one hour; tester should come out clean
  • serve with whipped cream, creme fraiche, or vanilla ice cream
