mix well and put in icebox for
a few hours

the salad proper:

diced apple or
sliced grapes or
combination thereof
green onions, chopped
walnuts, chopped
combine with dressing and mix well





  • place bed of lettuce/greens/shredded cabbage on each plate
  • place suitable dollop of "salad proper" on each plate on top of greens
  • (or)
  • spoon salad into "pocket" or wrap for a sandwitch
