ground clove
[ground cocoa]
mix, add to above






  • heat fruit & nut mix in oven 15 min at 350 deg F (so as not to cool and stiffen the honey/sugar mix when dumped in)

lemon juice
mix, heat, boil to 238 deg F,
then add fruit & nut mix above

  • butter sides of 2 ea 9 in pans with removable bottoms
  • line bottoms with rice paper
  • pour mix in and bake 30 min at 350 deg F
  • dust with powdered sugar when cool
note:
  • the lemon juice supposedly keeps the sugar mix from crystalizing
