- put in large tablespoonfuls on greased cookie sheet; for me this makes
about 12 biscuits
- bake at 400 deg F, about 15 min

note: |
- 1 there is a fair degree of latitude in the quantities; the important
thing is to use more or less milk to get just the right consistency
- 2: drop biscuits/scones are the easiest to make, with the dough sticky
(too sticky to knead) but stiff; you can sprinkle the tops with cinnamon
sugar if desired
- 3: for roll out biscuits/scones the dough has got to be a bit dryer;
then you flour your hands, knead it a bit, roll it out about 1/2 to 3/4 in
thick, and cut into rounds with 2 in glass, or diamonds with a knife;
tops may be brushed with a little watered, slightly beaten egg white and
sprinkled with cinnamon sugar if desired
