soak overnight in water,
drain

mix, add gradually and
beat up in blender

minced pork, cooked
beansprouts
scallions, diced
mix in


  • use cast iron pan with a little vegetable oil
  • form small round pancakes, and fry both sides until golden
  • serve with sauce
  • the minced pork can be replaced by beef, ham, bacon, shrimp, etc.
  • after soaking the 1 c peeled mung beans make about 2 c
  • i used 2 c soaked beans to 1 c milk and 1 egg in blender

mix w chop sticks for 3 min

sea salt to taste
dice and add in

add and knead for 2 min
let stand for 30 min
  • roll dough into long roll and cut into 10 equal sections
  • roll each piece into ball and press into pancake; sprinkle with chopped scallions and sea salt; fold into ball and press out again
  • heat oil in skillet and fry cakes 2 1/2 min per side until golden brown (makes 10, as you might expect)
