1/4	lb	bacon	dice, render well, drain, reserve bacon; discard residual fat and save pan for next step
1/2 - 1	c ea	sugar in 1 cup measure cider vinegar to fill cup egg, beaten	mix and heat gently 'til mixture thickens
mix in bacon and serve warm may be made with or without the egg; without the egg it doesn't thicken
