vinegar
mix to form sponge, and let rise
in warm place

  • knead mixture, put back in bowl and let rise for hour or so
  • knead again, divide into loaves (about 4), place in oiled pans sprinkled with cornmeal, and let rise
  • bake c. 15 min at 400 deg F and 30 min at 350 deg F
