cornmeal
cold water
boil up for 30 min or so

mashed potatoes
add and let all cool

yeast
lukewarm water
mix and let roil

wholewheat flour
caraway seeds
mix and add above ingredients


  • knead and let rise (twice ?)
  • knead and shape into loaves
  • bake 1/2 hr at 400 deg F; 1/2 hr at 350 deg F
  • let cool in off oven (?)
