St. Patricks Day is here again
It's time to celebrate.
He came to Ireland as a slave,
Who could guess his fate.

He herded sheep on that fair isle,
But then made his escape.
When he returned his mission was
The gospel to relate.

The Irish heard and they believed,
And thought the good news great.
Thankful still for all he did,
St. Patrick we do fete.
